Why
need
When the tester is not comfortable with the text response test, Conner CATA can be used to conduct the listening and attention test. By playing high and low pitches in turn, the tester is required to make relevant responses to evaluate the relationship between the tester's auditory processing and attention. question.
Conner CATA can be used for listening and concentration tests when test takers are not comfortable with word response tests
To objectively assess the presence or absence of auditory processing and attention-related problems in individuals 8 years of age and older
product
Advantage
-
When the tester cannot use the text response test, the listening method can be used for the attention test.
-
It can objectively assess whether there are auditory processing and attention-related problems in individuals aged 8 and above. In addition to subjective daily observation information, testers and parents have objective evaluation data to help understand the problems of individual cases.
-
The test results of this test can be compared before and after the doctor's treatment, so that the doctor can evaluate and the tester can see the treatment effect.

Product Description
Continuity of Attention Auditory Test CATA
-
The serial auditory test measures inattentiveness, impulsivity-related issues, and the state of the respondent's sustained attention, making it useful for assessing attention deficits and neurological functioning.
-
Conners CATA provides objective information about an individual's performance on attention tasks, supplementing information obtained from rating scales.
-
For a more in-depth assessment of attention, Conners CATA can also be used in conjunction with the Conners Continuous Performance Test Third Edition™ (Conners CPT 3 ™), a task-oriented, computerized assessment of attention-related problems in individuals aged eight above people.
-
Conners CATA and Conners CPT 3 can be purchased as a combined kit or individually.
-
how to use
During a 14-minute, 200-trial period, respondents heard a high-pitched tone preceded by a low-pitched warning tone (warning trials) or played alone (no-warning trials). Respondents were asked to respond only to the high-pitched responses on the warning trials and to ignore those on the non-warning trials. In most trials, low and high pitched sounds were played in the same ear (non-switching trials). In the switch trial, a low-pitched warning tone and a high-pitched target tone were played in separate ears, requiring respondents to shift their auditory attention from one ear to the other.
-
reliability and validity
-
One measure of internal consistency of tests is split-half reliability, which has been used before to determine the reliability of other continuous performance tests.
-
Test-retest reliability refers to the consistency of scores obtained from the same respondent within the same period of time.
-
Users can rest assured that Conners CATA will help detect attention deficits and differentiate between clinical and non-clinical cases.
-
For discriminant validity analysis, Conners CATA data from 193 children and adults with an existing ADHD diagnosis were collected during normalization.
-
Report
-
The assessment report provides detailed information on the scores of a single administration, presented both numerically and graphically.
-
Compares an individual's scores to those in a standard sample and indicates elevations at the scale and subscale levels.
A progress report compares the results of two to four administrations of the same individual to measure changes over time. -
These reports are ideal for monitoring the effects of treatments and interventions.
